Finalist of Blurring the Lines at Unseen Amsterdam | Venice Biennale | Paris Photo 2019

July 13, 2019 in Awards

Blurring the Lines is an annual exhibition project showcasing emerging photographers during Paris Photo. The aim is to represent the rapidly changing field of photography and its role in creating new perspectives on the world we live in. This project is made possible by the kind support of FOTODOK, Urbanautica Institute, Faservice and Paris College of Art.

I am happy to announce that I am one of the finalists of the 2019 edition, selected by curators Steve Bisson and Lisanne van Happen. The curators were very impressed by the high quality of the projects this year and made a selection of projects that deserve a broader audience.

The three winners Roberto Vico D’Amico , Irene Reece and Viktor Naumovski will be exhibited at Espace F15 in Paris next November. The finalists are Petri Juntunen, Jessica Bizzoni, Fleur Jakobs, Isa De Jong, Efrat Jacobovich, Arthur Lehmann, Dalia Hussein, Giselle Hinterholz, Gabi Campos, Raquel Santos, Roberta Capaldi, Hjordis Eythorsdottir, Alexey Vasiliev, Elena Ovchinnikova, Ilka Pappenscheller, Merve Terzi, Julia Gat, Sofiya Pankevich, Frédérique Scholtes, Jonna Bruinsma, Boris Lutters, and Tibor Dieters.

My work will be published in the catalog presented during the latest Unseen Amsterdam (NL) at the FOTODOK stand at the book market, during Paris Photo (FR) on November 5th at Espace F15, Paris and during venice art biennale during november 21th-24th.

— Ventilo Magazine, June 12, 2024, Aline Memmi
